Quality management plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory management in the preparation, deployment and sustainment of the medical laboratory throughout all phrases of operations.
One of the most significant current discussions in quality operations is the synchronization of actions, in terms of relevant resources, to produce maximum impact at the decisive place and time.
Contemporary medical laboratories implement International Standard ISO 15189:2022 as models and simulations to enable effective execution and planning of medical laboratory processes. However, a major problem with applications of this kind is limitations in their capacity to demonstrate that medical laboratories can achieve all conformance requirements.
